Meet Dan Fuller, our President and Founder and fellow trucker.

Dan brings a wealth of firsthand experience to his role, having spent a decade as a third-generation OTR truck driver and continuing to hold a CDL today. During his time on the road from 2007 to 2014, Dan regularly encountered the challenge of securing suitable accommodations for his 80-foot truck and trailer. His work involved driving custom show marketing trucks for major Fortune 500® companies and well-known brands across North America, which, most nights, required finding hotels with parking for longer vehicles as his trucks were equipped with large generators behind the sleeper. During these years of living out of hotels over 300 nights a year and contending with the challenges of finding hotels with good truck parking, Dan realized that there was a major need for a service dedicated to helping truckers.

Dan often found himself in challenging and risky situations, having trusted misleading reporting on truck parking and facing significant obstacles in navigating his way out of unsuitable hotel locations. Early in his career, in April 2009, a moment of Divine inspiration occurred in the back of his Volvo 780 sleeper, and the name Hotels4Truckers was born and registered on Godaddy. Recognizing and personally living the distinct needs of America's truck drivers and dissatisfied with existing hotel discount programs and the reliability of reported truck parking, Dan felt inspired by God to take the name and concept of Hotels4Truckers and create a service dedicated to serving truckers by building a comprehensive database of trucker-friendly accommodations from scratch!

The journey was marked by disappointment and frustration, as many hotels and corporate lodging programs failed to provide accurate information on truck parking. Dan then decided to painstakingly review each location individually to ensure that every hotel listed in our online directory could truly accommodate an 18-wheeler.

Since those early days, the Hotels4Truckers platform has undergone considerable evolution. Dan takes immense pride in spearheading the brand's growth and development, always with the well-being of the truck drivers at the forefront of his mind and heart. His commitment to continually enhancing the service to save truckers time and money on their hotel stays remains unwavering, with an ever-growing community of truckers benefiting from his dedicated leadership.
